Tidal Falls in Hancock. A picnic ground overlooking the spectacular reversing falls in the Taunton River. Watch eagles, herons, seals, and kayakers playing in the whitewater. From Ellsworth travel north to Hancock on US Route 1. After 8 miles turn onto Eastside Road, go .7 mile to the tidal Falls Road, turn left, and drive to the end. The preserve is open from 8 a.m. to sunset.
