Salt Pond in Hancock. A quiet trail through the forest above Carter's Beach on Hancock Point. The cobble beach separates the salt pond from the bay and is a good place for a picnic. Park near the Hancock Point boat house and walk north along Carter's Beach Rd. The trail begins near the end of the road and is a 1-mile loop.
